About Me

Caroline McCord is a fully qualified and insured Pilates teacher. Her career background was in training and she started practicing Pilates in the early 1990s when she had problems with her back as a result of premature arthritis in her hips. She trained in 2001 with the Pilates Institute in London and has over the years updated her knowledge to allow her to pursue her specialist interests.

Caroline is qualified in pre and post natal Pilates , Pilates for MS and neurological conditions and has recently completed her Women's Wellness Specialist qualification which included courses on
Reducing stress incontinence
Improving pelvic floor function and healing diastasis rectus abdominis
Fascia release methods for movement
Pilates for mid-life health and menopause
Osteoporosis and bone safe programming
Breast Cancer post op rehabilitation

Caroline teaches an extensive schedule of group mat work classes in Marlborough, Hungerford, Devizes and the surrounding villages around Andover and now Dorset. She offers 121 sessions for clients unsuited or unable to participate in her group courses. Her wealth of experience allows her to offer dynamic and progressive courses, focusing on building strength, endurance and mobility with a emphasis on functional movement practice.
